Awex

The Walloon Agency for Export and Foreign Investment (Awex) supports beBeer in its expansion beyond Wallonia’s borders. Beyond financial support, Awex provides valuable strategic expertise, particularly in shaping beBeer’s international communications strategy. This partnership opens the doors to foreign markets for beBeer and gives it the means to fly the flag for Belgian brewing expertise on the international stage.

Why this partnership? Awex is enabling beBeer to take a decisive step forward in its internationalisation by helping it to finance and implement its communications strategy outside Wallonia. This support is essential for transforming a regional initiative into a project with an international reach.

Bière Actu.fr

Bière Actu.fr was one of the first specialist media outlets to report on the beBeer venture. As soon as the beBeer mobile app went live in August 2025, the outlet published an article on the initiative, helping to raise the network’s profile amongst a community of beer enthusiasts and professionals. This early support illustrates the immediate impact the project had within the French-speaking brewing press.

Why this partnership? Bière Actu.fr played a pioneering role in raising beBeer’s profile by covering the ‘beBeer en poche’ tool from the moment it was launched. This partnership anchors beBeer within the specialist community and confirms the sector’s interest in the initiative.

Braine-l’Alleud

As the first brewing commune in the European network of brewing commune and regions, Braine-l’Alleud plays a founding role within the beBeer ecosystem. Its commitment reflects the local authorities’ desire to recognise beer as a genuine part of the region’s cultural heritage. By holding this pioneering distinction, the municipality embodies the local roots that beBeer aims to promote and demonstrates that a thriving brewing scene can become a marker of identity and attractiveness for an entire region.

Why this partnership? Braine-l’Alleud provides beBeer with institutional legitimacy and a concrete foothold within the European network of brewing communes and regions. This partnership illustrates beBeer’s mission: to bring together public stakeholders to promote brewing heritage.

Brasserie de l’Orne

Brewery de l’Orne distinguished itself by sponsoring the launch event for the RECORB network at the Press Club Bruxelles-Europe on 24 June 2026. By supporting this founding moment, the brewery demonstrated its commitment to the values championed by beBeer and its desire to contribute to the emergence of a network aimed at promoting brewing expertise and traditions within European municipalities and regions. Its commitment illustrates the natural affinity that links craft brewers to the sector’s collective ambitions.

Why this partnership? Brewery de l’Orne embodies the brewing world’s own support for the beBeer project. By partnering with the launch of RECORB, it helped to give this inaugural event the visibility and credibility required amongst the institutional stakeholders present at the launch.

Brussels-Express

Brussels-Express is beBeer’s ‘International Press’ partner. The publication has demonstrated its commitment by creating a section within its editorial team entirely dedicated to beBeer, thereby providing a regular and long-term platform for brewing news. This collaboration ensures beBeer a continuous editorial presence amongst an international readership based in Brussels, a hub for European institutions and decision-makers.

Why this partnership? Brussels-Express guarantees beBeer a permanent international media presence. The creation of a dedicated section demonstrates a substantive partnership, firmly establishing beBeer within the Brussels and European press landscape.

The Pod (Place of Digital)

The Pod (Place of Digital) is the digital innovation hub based in Louvain-la-Neuve (Wallonia), where beBeer has grown since its early days. beBeer has indeed been part of The Pod’s journey from the very beginning, where it has benefited from structured digital guidance, the attentive support of its teams and a nurturing environment conducive to experimentation. This innovative ecosystem has provided the essential foundation for the development of the ‘beBeer in your pocket’ tool, a true digital showcase for the brewing network.

Why this partnership? The Pod provided beBeer with the technical and human resources needed to realise its digital ambitions. Without the digital support and nurturing environment of this innovation hub, the ‘beBeer in your pocket’ tool would never have seen the light of day: this founding partnership forms the technological foundation of the beBeer project.
